Great Smoky Mountains National Park is located along the ridge containing the Great Smoky Mountains, which is part of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Great Smoky Mountains is located along the border of Tennessee and North Carolina, and is the most visited national park in the United States. It is also one of the largest parks in the eastern United States, encompassing 814 square miles.
