Lighthouses

Absecon Lighthouse

Typically, most associate Atlantic City with the casinos that seem to infiltrate the historic boardwalk and bring unrealistic character to this historic town. But nestled within the area’s steeped history is the Garden State’s tallest lighthouse, only a minutes walk from the boardwalk. Visitors can learn the history of this restored landmark and climb the many steps to the top and see sweeping views of the ocean.

Christmas Range Lighthouse

The Christmas Range Lighthouse is located just east of Christmas, Michigan along Michigan State Route 28. Officially known as the Grand Island Harbor Range Lights, the rear range light was constructed in 1914. It is open for tours two months of the year.
